Primicias24.com- Cada 11 de febrero se celebra el Día del Sociólogo y Antropótologo en Venezuela con el objetivo de reconocer la labor de estos profesionales la fecha fue escogida en conmemoración del inicio de los estudios de estas carreras en la Universidad Central de Venezuela en los años cincuenta.
Además conmemora la fundación del Colegio de Sociólogos y Antropólogos de Venezuela por un grupo de profesionales de dichas especialidades.
El antropólogo es aquella persona que analiza el contexto social y cultural del hombre, analizando su origen y el desarrollo como especie en un ámbito social y los cambios de su conducta al transcurrir el tiempo.

Mientras, el sociólogo se encarga de describir, explicar y predecir fenómenos de la realidad social, de esta forma busca apoyarse con otras ramas de estudio como la economía, la politología y demás profesiones para particularizar los sucesos de dichas sociedades y su impacto en las decisiones políticas, económicas y sociales.
Ambos profesionales pueden usar distintas técnicas de estudio, sin embargo la más conocida es el trabajo de campo, donde se enfocan en ir directamente a las comunidades para resolver los problemas que las acontecen, fuesen rurales, indígenas o civiles.
Aunque no tengan un amplio campo laboral, siempre hay la necesidad de tener cerca a un sociólogo o antropólogo para realizar ciertos estudios e investigaciones relacionadas con la dinámica social en los diferentes ámbitos.
